B.O.B. Stroller Safety Alert

I bundled up my little guy and took him out for my run this morning-- my hubby had to be at work early so I had to cancel my plans for a 5:45 run.  It's definitely not my preference to run with the little guy but it worked out and he always enjoys the runs-- so that's good!

But the real reason for this post is that BOB sent me an email today about another safety alert regarding the backing to the logo patch on the canopy.  For instructions on removing the patch backing follow this linkhttp://www.bobnotices.com/recall1/documents/OMB06.pdf

Happy running!

B.O.B. Recall

Everyone who has read this knows I am a fan of my B.O.B. stroller (Thanks Sarah for recommending it!).  I still am.  But wanted to give readers a head's up on this-- they just had a recall on most models due to the drawstring at the top.  Go to this website and enter in your model number for a free retrofit kit and instructions on how to remove the drawstring on the canopy.  Want to keep our babies and their mama's healthy!

Running For Two

I went on my first run on Saturday with the kiddo in the BOB Ironman stroller... ok-- I get all the hype now.  When you are just walking with the stroller you don't get a feel for how light the stroller is and how easily it can turn when going at more than a walking pace.  It was great!  Granted, I did not have any major turns, but I am a fan of the stroller.  It was smooth to run with and to turn.

Also, the adapter kit has worked just fine with the Chicco Keyfit carseat.  My little man fell asleep and was out the entire time.  I love that he faces me during runs, so I can see that he is asleep and how little his head moves even over a bump!

It takes about 50 times longer to get ready for a run with a baby, but it was well worth it... and bonus... it gives me no excuse to not get a shower in for the day.  : )

On a walk one day-- he is in the carseat and adapter for walks (and runs) now.
